Here’s one method to pass the Hardinger test. Works both in After Effects and Premiere.
Make an adjustment layer and mask out the area causing the issue. Add the Sapphire plugin “S_FlickerRemove”. Adjust the “Hold level” on the plugin to match your source footage’s brightness before the flicker occurs.
Note: This is a destructive method so you will be altering the image from its original intent. There’s no way around it.
